I asked before if elephant garlic sends up scapes as mine did not last year (and they ended up being rounds if I remember correctly, but maybe not.)

This year again it seems to be the same case. My shallots & onions sent up scapes I assume due to the funky winter / spring we had but nothing for the elephant garlic. What gives? Planted the elephant garlic from the croms so I am expecting rounds this year for sure- last year from cloves. They are nice sized to be from only croms, maybe even same size stalks as last summer from cloves.
