Dino's english is very good and easy to converse with. They usually do not sell seeds unless you are purchasing plants from them. They do not sell seeds alone and do this as a favor to those getting plants.

I've contacted him I'll order a couple of plants I think. I was attracted to that lucky gold plant but a small plant is 5000 baht, about 150 bucks. His regular arabicum plants are.awesome how long.did it take your packages do arrive? I assume.it's fine even in summer seeing as how adeniums are.tough to.kill dry.

Yes, they have some remarkable plants and of varying prices. I find that they take about 4-5 days to arrive in my country (Canada) and then mine go to customs and usually 3 days from then.

This time of year is the best time. Have been told it is best to get them before Late Aug into Sept., as this is the monsoon season there.

I have received them then with no problem.

I am so intrigued with all of mine, but I really like my Dino King Tree.

Thanks for the feedback I'm sure I'll buy some eventually. I wonder, with respect to the dwarfism bushy arabicum types how much of their appearance is genetic and in the seed strain and how much is cultural, root training, pinching etc. Growth regulators are commonly used to produce ornamental floral plants here in the states and it would work fine on adenium too.

The characteristics they hold are the same now as they where many years ago. Genetics plays the biggest part in their form. Pinching is not a practice they do in Thailand where most of these are being grown for sale purposes. Root manipulation/training is done from cutting of the original roots when young to produce roots new roots around the circumference of the caudex. Then these roots are decorated when older.

Most of the decorating is done for customers outside of Thailand like this. Virgin roots or Natural roots is most desired by the Thai people themselves. So much of this is done because it is what their customer base likes.
