your inquiry. Besides the traditional method of laying pipes and breaking out
concrete, we have seen people install the tub over a platform like depicted in
the images below so the the piping could come out of the wall, run on top of
the concrete, and be hidden by the platform.

If you google search
freestanding bathtubs on a platform i came up with these images. It can be well
done and create another texture and add a natural element to the room.

Thank you, I think this is what we will have to do. Raise it on a platform. What can the minimum ht. of the platform be? Any suggestions? I don't want it to be any higher then it need be.

The height of the platform all depends on personal preference and the plumbing in your home. Maybe your contractor/plumber can better answer that question for you.
