Need help with window treatment for entry door!

This is driving me crazy...

So, I have an arched window above my entry door. I hate this window. HATE.

You see, my sofa is directly in line with that window, so anyone who sits there is blinded on their right side. I mostly use my living room for watching television or lounging, and I don't have a lot of natural light in the house. I also have a dark color in the room. So the light is just sort of harsh.

Additionally, the top 2/3 of my door is paned glass, and I like to keep this covered for privacy and light-blocking reasons (don't judge my vampire ways).

(Please ignore the current yellowish shade. That was left by the previous owners.)

My dilemma is:

1) I cannot find a window treatment to even fit the top of the window, much less look nice.

2) I have no idea how to pair a shade for the door with a valence/shade for the top window.

A few things to keep in mind:

A: I like dark spaces. I don't want a light, airy living room. (Remember... vampire ways.)

B: Changing out the door itself is not really an option, although I would LOVE an affordable route to getting rid of that damned window.

C: I'm on a budget.

D: The current shade on the door is NOT staying. That was left here when the previous owners moved, and I kept it up for privacy reasons.

Your help is GREATLY appreciated! See pictures below!
