So last year my father-in-law grew dahlias from seed and planted them in a corner in our backyard. In early fall I collected seeds and stored them, planting some in early spring in peat moss pots. Only five seeds took, but I was happy anyway. I finally transplanted four of my seedlings to the same corner Friday night. I went out of town, came back yesterday and was shocked to find the leaves decimated. When I transplanted them, I lost a lot of roots. I also put Miracle Gro in my watering can when I watered Saturday morning. Could those two things have caused this, or is something eating them? So scared I'll lose them. Posting a pic of one still in a pot as these looked that good just a week ago.
