Hi, we just got our custom nightstands and they are beautiful. The problem is, I am not sure if they are too deep. The height and width are good, but the depth seems strange.

They were delivered today and measure 25"W x 27.5"H x 25.5"D. Looking back on our conversation, I asked for 27Wx27Hx19D but I did say he had creative freedom to make them look great. The nightstands themselves are beautiful, exactly how we wanted them to look, but don't know if sizing is too off and how bad it will look. We have a California king mattress. I really like this guy's work, and I really do not want to cause an issue if I brought the size issue up. Height is perfect and while laying in bed it's nice that the table is more lateral and I don't have to reach back to use it. But when looking at the tables when you walk in the room it looks odd a bit.

What would you do? Have you ever seen a 25"D nightstand? Thanks
