I have room planner on my iPad. I used the free version for a good while but then bought the full version as it is only $10.

This is one I did in room planner.

Ikea's kitchen planner

I used a free interactive graph paper. Tom Maitland. I then save the outline in paint and add stuff. I've bought various programs but I found them cumbersome and not custom enough.

Some people love Sketchup but it was very hard for me to learn so I gave up on it.

I used Sketch-Up for the actual drawing, and GW for advice!

I think they all suck because they do not have 48" stoves or 54" vents or full size fridge/freezer combos :P Makes it a royal pain when trying to lay out a kitchen with that stuff.. heh

That's why I used the interactive graph paper. It allowed me to use my exact dimensions.

It saved me from hand redraw of my kitchen basic dimensions and cabinets over and over.

I have "graph paper" on Photoshop and use that. No 3d but this way I can hand the KD the graph and hopefully they will follow my plans.
