Vetrazzo versus Cambria

Hi everyone, I was all settled to use Cambria in my white kitchen, and then I happened to run across recycled glass when I was looking for something else at Home Depot today. After several hours of research, I think we both love the look of Vetrazzo Chivalry Blue for our kitchen. We live in a very small, mid century modern house in St. Pete Florida, very close to the water. Our furniture is soft coastal colors (see photo) so it would look fantastic in there. Does anyone have any idea of the cost difference between Cambria and Vetrazzo? I'm reading Vetrazzo can be as high as $160? I'll be heartbroken because my Cambria quote was not that high. I need 54 square feet. Thanks so much for your advice!

My Vetrazzo Bistro Green came at about $120 / sq ft a couple of years ago, for a tiny condo kitchen with only 21 sq ft of countertop (less than half a slab).

Would depend on your layout and the number of slabs required, in addition to fabrication costs and the selected material. Only a local supplier would give you a realistic estimate.

Call the local distributor that's on the website (www.vetrazzo.com) and they can give you the direct quote and fabrication estimates. I personally LOVE vetrazzo more than the quartz because its truly a hand crafted and unique product. I've done several installations with the material and it always turns out so gorgeous. If you can fit it in the budget, I would choose that over quartz!
