Thanks for the question, it's a good one! :) The Lexington has a long cushion that can be positioned on either the left or right side of this sofa frame - it rests firmly on top of a free standing ottoman which can be moved to either side as well! Can you include furniture clips to hold the ottoman to the sofa, so that it doesn't move?
