Funghi? Dwarf Clusia Shrub

I purchased this dwarf clusia plant around 3 weeks ago from Home Depot
and repotted it in a fresh pot within two days. I've started seeing
these large black spots on the tops of the leaves, is it fungus? None of
my other plants have it.

Background: The plant is on an East/North facing balcony that's covered,
but next to tinted glass so the east sun doesn't hit it too heavily. Its closer to the glass to protect from wind. We are 27 stories up and lighter plants tend to get agitated by it (my succulents dont seem to mind)


Its soil is 1 part moss, 1 part perlite, 1 part soil, with an inch of
rock at the bottom for drainage, plus a light layer of activated carbon
over the rocks to purify any water that sits in the rocks. I layer all
my container plants like this though and I've never seen this black spot
problem.

    A couple things Kirstie: first, just to clear away one misconception, placing rocks or anything else for that matter, at the bottom of a non-draining pot does nothing-zero-zilch-to aid drainage. I'm not going to put my explaining hat on right now but trust me-it doesn't work that way. So....if this is indeed a pot without drainage holes-I realize you didn't say it was-that alone is a major issue. Secondly, yes, those do resemble any one of roughly sixteen thousand potential fungal leaf blights but I'd be lying if I said I know which. sometimes, all you've got is the local plant disease diagnostics lab, which does strike me as a bit of overkill for a houseplant!

    Anything else happen of late? Plant get too dry for too long (doesn't appear so), stay too wet for too long?
