I have a Sears Model 580.742780 pressure washer. I can start it but it will only ruin for 10 seconds before the engine dies. I can restart almost immediately and again it will run for between 6 and 10 seconds before dying. Gas cap vent is clear, fuel line is clear to float bowl, new fuel in tank, oil at proper level (not low oil problem) and pump discharge is open so it is not water back pressure. I have tried to solve this problem 10 years ago, even sent it to a repair shop who charged me $170 to fix it but did not and then refuses to work on it again. I'm continue to be at a lose over a solution, can anyone offer a potential solution ?
