help with livingroom

Hi Everybody,

I hope you can help me. This is our Livingroom, we would
like to have a coffee table and something on the wall, but we are lost. We are
afraid to charge the Livingroom but on the other hand we find it a little bit
“flat”. Attached you will find a couple of pictures. Thank you in advance for
your help!!!

I'd love to see some colorful books/doodads on those shelves, and maybe pull the seating back a bit more. On the blank wall, a lively large piece of art (with some color as the other poster suggested) would really liven the space. Perhaps below it you could put two poufs or ottomans for extra seating. As for a coffee table, something with pizazz; maybe a glass top something. Good luck!

Could you pull the cabinet to the left and have it off centered and place some colorful tall vases or baskets on the left of tv. Need bright colorful art and stuff on shelves

How about a storage ottoman instead of a coffee table that matches perfectly with the sectional and fits within the L shape? That way you can push it up to the sectional and use it as a space to extend your body.

Add some abstract artwork. It would add some style and height. I say abstract because it matches with the look you currently have.

Take the wall unit off the wall. Turn it upside down with the flat end on the floor on the blank wall. Now you have a stair-step console. Add art above. A lamp.

The hanging unit looks awkward and out of scale for its place on the wall. Try it on the floor. Looks like you could do several configurations. One with tall unit in the corner --one with tall unit on the end next to the doorway.

Nice beginning for the wall cabinet. Now continue it across the wall...same configuration. In open shelves add one green glass piece. Easy to find...they can be all the same or different shapes...just the same color.

    Coffee tables for your space....

Here's some art work with links from Houzz for your far walls, but I don't know what your taste is. What you can do is plug in "lime green and black paintings" into the Houzz search engine and pick up something in your style. You did a good job with proportions, btw, not something many people can pull off. Y

Something to consider is a narrow console table in white for the left wall with a round modern mirror over it to reflect light from your door. Get a lamp with a lime curved base.

You need a round coffee table, too many angles in the room. Soften it up with a fabric ottoman

Do you like or dislike lots of pillows - they could bring in a bright turquoise, or a soft purple. If not pillows, then a coffee table.
