If it isn't getting direct sun, just order it with clear glass. The bigger issue in FL is solar control. If its inside the lanai, it is far less important. Keep in mind that a twin casement will have a pretty big center spar on it as compared to a slider.

To that extent, they are nicer as well. Is that your Cavalier in that picture? I have one as well. They are great dogs.
