Cracked plastic on shower door? How to replace?

Hey guys! Please pardon my ignorance on the topic. My house didn't come with a how-to-fix manual.

The plastic liner piece on the bottom of my shower door has cracked and now let's a little pool of water collect on the edge outside the shower door.

Can this piece be replaced? Do they sell this at Home Depot or do I have to go to a specialty store? Is there a name for this part? How do I remove the old plastic piece (it appears to be glued on)??

I think its called a sweep. You should be able to buy online depending on the width of the glass. Home Depot has some sizes. There are some that have like a windshield wiper thing on the bottom that really seals it up but makes it hard to close the door at first.

The plastic guard on our glass shower door is plastic. Home Depot does not sell. Find a barroom remodeler, a good one will sell you one.

It probably isn't glued in place, just stuck by years of gunk!

You probably already know this, but you can easily slide the plastic off, so should be easy to replace once you find another (perhaps take this one with you when you go to look so you can get the same size).

I got the same thing off of Amazon. Cut it to size then popped it on. Easy peasy

Yep, it is called a "shower door sweep" and both Lowe's and Home Depot carry a couple of different designs. As said above, I would take the old piece with you to make sure you get the right size. http://www.lowes.com/pd/Prime-Line-1-43-in-Clear-Vinyl-Hinged-Shower-Door-Bottom-Sweep/3824573

Just pull on it in the direction for it to slide out and take to store to get exact replica of "your" piece. Of course, thoroughly clean off gunk before "sliding" new piece in. Vinegar is a great thing to clean this with.
