I had some aphids from bell pepper going to tomato. I used neem oil with 1/2 tsp baby liquid soap. That took care of it. But now this brown spot show up and within 2 days stem is becoming brown. Is it late blight? I thought that happens in late oct.

No issues on leaves and fruit. Both are spot free.

Any help appreciated to save my tomatoes.

I think it's getting worse and worse. I saw in the morning my leaves are getting effected from the middle vein part and getting brown.

It looks like early blight as per this. Can anyone experience please confirm?

It is impossible to confirm without actually seeing the plant so all we can offer is possibilities based on experience. Early Blight usually begins on the leaves - which is why I asked about them - and is a lighter brown and larger bands than shows in your photos.

But that doesn't mean that it is not EB. It could be. Based on the photos it could also be Alternaria (which also usually begins on the leaves).

But the bottom line is the treatment is the same - fungicides and stripping off all the affected foliage.

Both diseases can be prevented to a degree if you use fungicides from day 1. But once on the plant all you can do is slow it down by removing any affected leaves and regular weekly sprayings of the fungicide of your choice. Obviously you can't strip off big stems but if there are a few that are really bad, cut them off. Then spray well. If you have no objections to synthetics then Daconil is the recommended fungicide. If you only want organic then use one of the copper based fungicides.

Depending on your location and length of growing season you can also take healthy cuttings from these plants, root them, hand have new plants to replace these with.

Pictures do help, but in this case, since most tomato diseases are identified primarily by how they affect leaves, unfortunately, these extra pics of stems don't help too much.

Stems and fruit are secondary to determining diseases (except such problems as Blossom End Rot.)
