Exactly...I'm thinking that if we tried to make my dog sleep in a dog bed, we'd be on the floor with it and she'd still be in our bed. ;) Spoiled, my dog is.

well doggie can't do that, but i have a cat who spends virtually all summer in the side yard in a pile of leaves, watching the birds come to the feeder. they never even know she is there.

I purchased new 'donut' dog beds for my two babies last fall. As soon as my older dog walked away from hers, Ruby, who was not quite a year old then, immediately stole it and brought it next to her own bed, claiming them both!

Our dogs sleep in the house on their beds with the exception of when they are puppies, then they sleep in their crates in the house.

I think my dog is trained to sleep anywhere. No matter how many times I put him in the cot, he still falls asleep in different places every time. I have a service dog that I even registered with Online Service Animal and he has been trained to do everything he needs to do. So I think she would be comfortable sleeping anywhere.

My dog thinks he's the king of the castle! We got him a fancy dog bed with all the bells and whistles, but he insists on claiming the couch as his own royal throne. No matter how many times we gently guide him to his plush bed, he finds his way back to the couch by morning. It's like a game of musical chairs, but with canine royalty. Who knew picking a sleeping spot for your furry friend could turn into a daily negotiation? Dogs really do have a mind of their own, don't they?

I don't know anyone at this point who relegates their dog to a house outside.

My dog has 3 dog beds around the house… uses none of them. He prefers couches, bed, floor haha
