I'm not sure this awkward layout and oven placement should be forged ahead with (no one even relocated the plug somewhere else!?). It seems this is a good example of pre planning as well as having a pro involved in the design of your new kitchen. But being what it is I would entertain installing a conventional over the range fan and having a creative cabinet maker fabricate a matching chimney hood to fit over it (purely for aesthetics of course it would have no function). But the poor even location right at the edge of the bumpout means that investing in a solution such as that doesn't guarantee that it will improve things here necessarily. Good luck.
