My ceilings are ten feet. These are going over my island counter. Is the standard cord enough? Also I don't want the chain ... Would prefer a the cord be enclosed in wrought iron "stick"

Perfect. Love the open layout of the room. Let's do 48" to the bottom of the pendant which will be in scale with the room. Has construction started?
