I actually like the white in this case. I'm sure you'll get several suggestions for something that pops. Can't tell for sure...is the house the gray or possibly gray/blue color it appears on my screen?

What a darling home .. lovely character. Because of the shade, I'm sort of guessing that the color is a green in the direction of blue green. I would stay away from yellow. Eggplant would work nicely . . and resonate with the lovely harvest tones in the maple next door . .

Lovely home. Don't know whether it's the angle of the photo or what, but maybe remove that bush so you can actually "see" the front door. What you have seems fine.

Open up the access to the door with some judicious pruning. Is there a screen door over the entry door? I think you'll want them painted to match. A pale yellow would be nice.

I'd look at all the door colors on the street, and paint it something totally different, so for example you could tell your visitors "it's the house with the purple door."

It would help to know what color the house is. Exact name if you remember, if not a good description. Colors are not true online and the photo is very dark.
