I know phraags can get large. I was drawn to this one thinking it will be a smaller plant.

It will be small for a Phrag. I think mine is only about 6 inches tall with the longest leavessel being about 10 inches. I have only had it for 2 years but it blooms reliably.

I'm with Darlene, I like tall pots for my phrags. Here is a link to the pots I use for my 6 phrags. 5" & 6" tall pots. I like the 5"&6" black paph pots for my phrags, in my experience the black pots are a little sturdier than the terra cotta type also shown.

I use a phrag/paph orchiata mix for my phrags and repot every 2-3 years. If and when my plants outgrow the 6" pots, I divide them as I can't handle over-wintering the larger plants indoors under lights.

Thank you Bob and Darlene. I had an Air Pot on hand , so i planted in that pot.

Darlene, will this plant bloom with only two mature growths (there is a third growth just getting started)? Spring bloomer, I suppose? The clear deli containers sounds like a great idea,.

Here's the Phrrag in its new pot. They do have larger sizes of these pots. I hav a new cymbidium in. a Larger air pot?
