The Houzz app for iPad is one of my favorites. If you're reading this then your're obviously familiar with the site. Most you know that you can find ideas for your home by searching Project Photos, Products, or see some projects that Professionals in your area have done. You can also find a subcontractor by pressing the Professionals tab on the left. Next you can enter a search term like “Electronics”, be sure to choose the geographical area you want to search like Austin. You can also browse professionals by service types on the left, we are located under Home Media Design & Installation. See if you can find some ideas for you next home improvement project.

I learned something new, thanks for the post. Mint is a very powerful personal finance app. I like that it automatically groups all of your purchases into a budget category for you.

My favorite iPad app by far is called Paper. If you haven't used it or heard of it, geaux download it immediately. It's a note taking utility that is influenced with a spectacular paint option, taking full advantage of the colors the iPad Retina can display.

My new favorite app for small business is Outright. It is a quick and dirty accounting system. It is very basic, easy and free. Quickbooks was getting too expensive to keep upgrading so I switched to this and it is working just fine for my small business needs.

My favorite app is Waze. If you don't have this app and live in Austin, you must download. It works phenomenal with traffic conditions and police locations. It works by simply driving with the app open on your phone, you passively contribute traffic and other road data that helps the Waze system to provide other Waze drivers with the most optimal route to their destination, including live traffic information. But you can also take a more active role by reporting on accidents, police traps, or any other hazards along the way, helping to give other users in the area a 'heads-up' about what's to come and contributing to the common good out there on the road.

For home management and home automation Savant is a great app. I can make sure my Austin home is secure from my iPhone. I can check if my garage door is closed and my security system armed from anywhere.
