A black roof would be my choice and you could go with a charcoal grey for the vinyl but do not paint the bricks ,if you do you will be painting them often do to peeling , why create a jog when you don't need to :)!

We until recently, had a home with similar color brick as yours and painted it charcoal with soft white trim. It had a black roof and looked very nice.

Please don't paint the bricks. I think a gray/charcoal roof would be perfect. The gray roof in Genevieve's post is nice, along with the gray siding. A big plus for a gray roof is how neutral it is and will go with so many different paint colors. It can also look really nice with brick.

Depending on which roof you choose I would go with either a darker tan/taupe or a gray. I would also remove the shutters on first floor. The windows are entirely too wide for shutters. The upper shutters could be resized so they would cover the entire window.

If you live in a hot place like California then I would not go any darker than Weatheredwood. Your current light roof makes me suspect you could be in a hot zone. If not, I like dark gray as well for the roof. Decide roof color and have it installed. Then consider paint color.

I think a bright red door and a black roof would look fantastic on your home.
