Everybody & their brother from north of the Mason-Dixon has been asking about fungus & dead patches in their Kentucky bluegrass this year...

I don't know, I was going to add some KBG into the lawn this year but seeing all the issues people are having up north with it, I wonder if it's a good idea to attempt it here in NC. I mean, I'm seeing brown lawns in NJ and people complaining of heat, what chance do I have down here? Is it a matter of correct management or is KBG really that sensitive? I was emboldened by some pictures someone posted on the other forum of a beautiful KBG lawn in Charlotte, but doubt is starting to creep in. I planted Spitfire HBG last year with the fescue and I'm having trouble finding it in my lawn at this point. There's some left, but not that much.
