What's your favorite color?

Pick a color you love and repeat it. Maybe it's a color in another room. Red? Turquoise? Sage green? French blue?

Or use food. Red, green, orange, yellow.

You just need an accessory (bowl, display plate, le creuset) in your favorite bright color.

I'm at the end of my remodel and I have the same tones going on, and nothing warm in my kitchen. So I planned on a yellow range and accessories that match. It gets installed tmrw! I'm hoping that works!

Fruits in a wooden bowl. Bright teapot. A tea towel. A flower pot with ..I don't know..rosemary or dill..or a flower..:)

It will happen naturally. Just bring in the things you love. Whether different color or different texture, or both-it will work.

I just did this with my kitchen as well. You could hang a pretty roman shade in the window. A nice wood bowl for fruit, or maybe some pretty wood cutting boards propped up. A decorative plate on an easel in the corner. 3 small potted plants in front of the window or along the wall. A pretty rug in front of the sink. Not sure if you are planning to use counter stools or not but you could get ones with a wood seat and it could tie in with whatever wood accents you do. I used the Origin backless ones from crate and barrel and I love them. Probably don't do all the suggestions or it will be too much but those are just all of the ways I could think of to warm up a room. I was overwhelmed by how white mine was at first, but once I added the few accessories and things I love how serene it is.

The first thing I would do is run to the nursery to get some flowering plants and ceramic containers. Probably 4, 2 for each side of the window and 2 to rotate from other corners. I personally then go to curtains or rugs whichever one you fall in love with first. Have Fun!

I even hate the phrase pop of color! ;) I tried to keep mine neutral too but I did add some blue because that's my favorite color. Your kitchen is so pretty so I wouldn't do much!

With the depth and light you have behind the sink you can do just about anything you want with live plants. That's a nice design.

Then how about a beautiful planter in copper or wood with herbs in it. You can place it anywhere- on counter, windowsill etc..

I just don't want to add too much to your serene kitchen.

I would incorporate wood elements for texture, such as a wood platter/board. Orchid, potted herbs, bowl of fresh lemons. That sort of thing

I love the combination of orange and blue, and the neutral backdrop is a must. It's great to have color on the less permanent items, so that if you have a change of heart you can change a window covering, some cushions, and some light shades and have a completely different look.

Your kitchen is stunning. No need to warm it up! I would just repeat the counter and backsplash colors, but maybe darker, with accessories.

oh that beautiful light from the window...try one of those new blue toasters..some blue antique jars and a rug in some blues. sunlight on the blue with all the sand tones...very nice...keep it simple. one color and let the light play...maybe a valance at the window.

enzaenza - That backsplash is to die for! I loved seeing another picture of it. As far as accessorizing, mixer in fun color with rug in same color?

Love the ideas above. I'm like you love the natural and not so into colour. I've got herbs bamboo blinds and a Big end grain cutting board in our black and white kitchen. I've also got a small wool rug on the floor with deep reds and blues. The Dutch put these rugs on their tables and mine is probably too valuable to go on the floor but it sure looks nice.
