Hi Erica. I would suggest researching custom cabinet makers in your area and showing them photos. There are many options now for custom cabinetry that are still in the affordable price range. Many Amish cabinet builders can also build the same product from photos with better quality and price. Not sure there are many Amish in SF Bay but there are plenty here in the East Central US. Hi! I'm in the same boat! Who did you end up using for your cabinets?

I ended up using Benchmark Studios in Holland MI. They are fantastic. Pricy but they can customize drawers, and give you any finish you want, etc. With the Amish I had limited options and a longer manufacture time. I looked at Branch Hill Joinery out of Ann Arbor and they produce some beautiful pieces, however, they couldn't quite grasp all of the design features I desired. Good luck with your project!
