I think I'm becoming tomato obsessive. I usually plant a few seedlings and either manage to get a few or a bunch of tomatoes.

I have 12 plants - 2 each of magic mountain, oregon spring, sungold, principe borghese, pineapple and orange banana. And three romas in pots because I ran out of space.

I have been noticing leaf curl in the ones in the garden - especially the orange bananas. Oregon spring is short stocky with no curl. I am attempting to diagnose. I planted them in slightly raised beds well amended with compost. I used landscape fabric in part to minimize splashing when I water. The plants are green, flowering and setting fruit but with curling leaves.

We had warm weather early followed by being very very dry windy and cool at night (yesterday/today we are getting the first significant rain since June 6). I was thinking they were too dry and was watering often. Then I got worried maybe I was overwatering. Also I wondered wind?

Today it is rainy and cool - the symptoms are minimized a bit.
