Typically when I finish a quilt, even a small quilt, I use this method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2egganTi2us  by Marzipan. It requires cutting strips, folding, pressing - really works well for quilts...but I wonder if there is a better way for placemats?? I just finished 6 - they are ready for the finish. I'm open to some suggestions. Also,, would you use one of the fabrics - dark or light? or would you make a mixed binding? 15 x 17.75
