Seems I may have jumped the gun on my accusation that these are a more blush than lavender.

The pics up top were taken the day they opened. I snapped some more today and can tell from the newest flowers, against those that have aged, a color difference.

The ones that have been open for three days are getting closer to the Zabo Plants 'stock' photo lavender color.

The flower on the far right is newly opened, and shows a richer blush color. The cluster to the left has been open for a few days and have dulled to a softer lavender.

Same with the next pic ... far right NEW ... left OLD

I'll concede I'm being tedious, and the color shift is SLIGHT, at best.

A final shot in the sun, for comparison ... all others were taken while it was overcast.

Needless to say, all this doting is largely contributed to the sheer enjoyment this cultivar has brought me. :)

That's a beautiful lily. I have not seen that one before. For some reason it reminds me of some of the newer hellebores I've seen. (The color and spots) I love it!

I am just getting familiar with these "LA" Lilies, these are modern hybrids, and they are stunningly beautiful. Thank you for sharing your display of these, now I want to have one. The foresmost source that I can get this kind of Lilies, in Germany, is the Super-markets and the Gardenware Discounters and Garden-departments of DIY-stores, these occasionally provide the customer with potted specimens which are just blooming up, so I can already know what I get. Kindest regards from GERMANY!

Updates from 2017

This was the second full year in my garden and the flower count on each of the original 5 bulbs doubled, if not tripled ! Even some of the bulblets from the previous year had a couple flowers on them. So, good vigor overall for this cultivar it seems.

Their display was truly a sight to behold.

These pics were taken a bit late in their bloom so the colors have already started to fade. There is a stalk in the front of the clump that opened later than those behind it and is exhibiting the vibrant coloring they show when first open.

I am often reminded of a lady's blushed cheek when I see this lily. :)
