A few frequent bloomers

A few of these have bloomed almost non-stop since mid April, and the others have had quick repeat, Sunsprite is beginning its third flush. Others that have been blooming a lot are Veteran's Honor, Pink Promise, Souvenir de la Malmaison , Double Delight, Orchid Romance,Twilight Zone, Dublin Bay, Peace, Forgotten Dreams, and Kathleen Harrop. Not such a bad season after all!

Touch of Class reminds me of my Sonia, a favorite of mine that is refusing to perform this year for me. I think I may be losing her after all these years.

We are having a grasshopper-plague year again, so between that and the heat, our repeats are about nil.

Thanks for the reminder that somewhere out there, beautiful roses are blooming and thriving!

At last it dawned on me why people questioned a rose's repeat time. Duh. Short growing season! Your information will be invaluable for choices by those in such climes. Having trouble with my verbage tonight.

I put in 'Touch of Class' this year. Glad to hear it's a frequent bloomer.
