Do you have to use the rod with this fan or can it be mounted flush to the ceiling ?

Hi,

Thank you for your inquiry, it has to use the rod, the standard length of the rod is 5", and we also have 9", you can choose the length you like.

Hello,

I am confused. In your response to Amy Hanrahar on 7/8, the answer to her question is that an electrician can install this fan as a flush mount fan. However, in this response the answer is that it can't be installed as a flush mount. Can you please clarify. I want this fan but only if it can be a flush mount.

Thank you very much for you reply, we are so sorry for the confusion. We have checked with our manufactory taht it is better to install with the rod. Hope you can understand.

what is the actual dimensions of the body of the fan - i know the rod is 5" and then what is the fan. I need overall drop from the ceiling with the rod. do you have a specification sheet I can reference?
