My two timing cat!

Well, it was quite a while ago now that my big Boycat was returned home mysteriously one night. ...see thread on missing cat...

I was trading at market today and my landlord comes up and says, in a mysterious tone," I know where your cat is!" Keeping cool I said, "So do I; someone brought him back after dark the week I asked you.. ".. As I suspected, it was the kind little man up the lane who would have been mortified had I gone to him.... Apparently a black and white cat had been around a lot. " We made the mistake of feeding him..." So my two timing ******* was at the door begging for food and not the first time. Only the man lives at least a mile away.. Needless to say he is now under HOUSE ARREST! ..at least I am assuming that that was my cat he had there! With his huge golden eyes and pathetic cry of starvation! Does not explain the 8 day missing time.. unless there is another instalment to com.. this being deep rural Ireland that could well be so!

Poor starving kitty LOL!

Mine get pitiful after about, oh, maybe 3 hours after their most recent meal.

They do that sad little "silent meow", like they don't have the strength to actually meow!

Well, mine never have until now and after 12 years of close companionship you really do not expect it! What got me was that the landlord waited SIX WEEKS after i asked him to check before telling me!, As far as he knew the cat was still missing.. IRISH! Boycat is a master at the silent miau.. wish I could work out how to post photos I remember way back when I had family here in Ireland and one was making mayonaise eggs in the kitchen, window open. In snakes a paw and steals some.. HUGE starving eyes1 NB This cat weighs around 25 lbs, I cannot leave eg cake out as he loves it. LOVE my big boy! So thankful he came back and grateful for my understanding of Irish character that I did not go rushing in. .. Quiet now; everyone is full or raw chicken... Bliss1
