Moon Cacti Problem!

I was begining to notice something wrong with my cacti. Is it rotting? Am I over watering it? Do I need to water it more? As you can see, I dont have a clue so I was wondering if someone can help me in the comments below please! p.s. I do have other plants around it, so should I move it away from them or is it not nessacary?

Yes to what April said. Corking is natural, but should be firm. If there is any softness or mushiness, it is rotting.

Your soil may be water retaining - it may look dry on surface but still too wet under. Is there drainage hole in the container?

Other plants could have different light & watering needs, and it would be best to pot them separately. Looks like there are couple of cacti there, what else?

That is the natural hardening of the live tissue, which is completely normal. Also, don't be discouraged if that cactus dies, as grafted ones don't usually last as long.
