Saarinen table + Eames chairs?

We are considering an oval Saarinen table and these Eames-style side chairs for our post-remodel dining room. Best deals seem to be online, but would be nice to know what to expect before we put in an order and pay a lot of $ for them. Questions:
- Are Saarinen tables tippy? We have two young kids and some concern about heavy leaning on the table.
- How comfortable are Eames side chairs? We currently have padded, upholstered chairs-- are we giving up a lot of comfort? Or are they well shaped to be comfortable and supportive?

These have stood the test of time; pricey when they were made and pricey still because they are a no design design; just comfortable and there for perfect.

The tables are remarkably sturdy. I have one in my breakfast room and my business partner has one in his dining room with a rambunctious child. Even without the top bolted on they don't move. Beauty of good design!

The real Saarinen tables with stone are quite sturdy but a bit pricey. I can't vouch for replicas if you're going that route.

And I'll chime in on the Eames side chairs --- very comfortable! Just make sure seat height and tabletop height work for you.

We got this replica table and chairs from manhattanhomedesign.com. Extremely happy with the quality of the table (I think they have walnut version too) and I sit in the chair for a large portion of the day doing my work and it's totally fine. (But may be an adjustment if you are used to padding.)

I've never seen one tip, I've only seen them damaged from moving them carelessly. Most high-end replica tulip tables have bases that are much heavier and more substantial. I could go on and give my usual spiel about why buying a replica is better,
