Taking down the awning, and painting your house with the colors you suggested sounds great! It will definitely help with curb appeal. I love wood railing and to me, it always looks better than metal railing.

I love screen porches and it's really not difficult to do. I think your aspiration pic would look great on your house.

Remove the "shudders." Your windows are not appropriate style for them or for real shutters. Consider cedar porch posts and a bright pop of color for the door. I agree that the monkey grass should be removed. What direction does the house face? I'm thinking white dwarf azaleas would be pretty foundation plantings. How about adding a screened porch to the back of the house for privacy when sitting outside?

I love front porches, so Victorian and old fashioned in a sweet way. Screening yours in would be lovely. For your railing, are you planning to paint it white like your trim? Otherwise, I think it might look like an afterthought rather than an integrated part of your house. For your screen porch, I'd keep the screen door to the porch simple so it blends in. Your front door would look nice in red.

I love your color ideas and think a screened in porch would look wonderful. At some point I think changing the path that leads to your house would make a great impact. Something curvy. I agree with Deco, white azaleas. Perhaps other white blooming plants too like astilbe, cosmos, impatience, and hostas.
