I would paint the siding first with a color that you love. It's amazing how a fresh coat of pretty paint makes a difference! Since your stone looks neutral, you could choose about any color you want for your house. Here are some paint ideas from Houzz:

Oh. I love the dark grey. Add some raw wood trim? There is a man named Kevin Strader. I found him on houzz pro. He has a web site called creative visual concepts. It would be easier to provide some assistance if you provide reasonable size, clear pictures of the home. Stand closer to the home and set your camera to take a larger size image. You can see that once the image is enlarged it loses all details.

I would change the deck railing before even thinking about paint then choose a nice gray if there is one in the stones IMO the vertical siding is more in keeping with the design of the house theseare a couple of good examples and black window frames

The original siding, if in good condition, looks great. Sherwin Williams "Urban Bronze" would be a great color for your MCM Home! A satin finish is very durable. A darker color house paint requires quality prepping. So you may want to consider replace areas where the siding has had a lot of exposure. Consider your white vinyl windows when choosing a trim color. White vinyl doors/windows/gutters end up being a 3rd color. Downspouts painted the house color will be less noticeable. A punch of color for your front door would be fitting. Apply a few sample strokes of color (persimmon over orange) and get some advise from your in-house aesthetics committee (that you've appointed).
