I will tell you that painting cabinets is an art and nothing looks worse than a poor paint job on cabinets so I agree ask a realtor what sells as it costs a lot of money to have cabinets painted and a lot of your time to do it yourself. If the kitchen is great it might help but if the kitchen needs replacing I would not waste the time or money just a really good cleaning and decluttering in there. As for wall paint I think it always pays there is nothing better than a freshly painted house to make buyers notice. IMO an all white interior is quite strak maybe a soft color like a really pale gray/ green like Sea Salt from SW it also goes well with wood colors

I moved into a freshly painted all white house last year, which I detest! The only good thing I can say about it is it's easy to cover up with the paint colors I am slowly using in each room.

I would never buy a house that had gray walls because I know that none of my furniture would work! I think that something creamy allows many more options. Gray can suck the life out of a room.
