When I had my Bulldogs they also would try to find a sunny spot to hunker down in.

Somewhere I have a photo of a sunny spot in my Den with five Bulldogs and two black cats vying for some of that sunshine.

Just have the one retired racing Greyhound. She sleeps just about anywhere, including in the sunny spots.

Wild and wet here in Kerry Ireland; not seen the fields or mountains for 48 hours. We are snuggled in my cats and I.. Summertime, but there we are..they say HOT this weekend, ie hot for Ireland ie mid 20s. The land will steam...

It's very hot and humid here is southern Maine, and my 3 rescue kids are taking it easy.

And then they are weaned and mother stops cleaning up after them. lol

Only thing cuter than bulldog puppies are adult bulldogs. I adore the breed- such sweethearts.

One of mine was re-homed to us t 13 months. I never understood how people can get rid of their dogs/cats. They're part of the family as far as I'm concerned, and you don't get rid of family.

The Bulldog Club of America's (BCA's) Rescue arm is kept quite busy - sadly.

After my last Bulldog girl was euthanized at age 13 I waited three years before adopting another dog. A four year old Greyhound with 147 races at the Dog Track in Tampa, Florida.

Greyhounds and Greyhounds are very similar in disposition - docile, inquisitive, sleeps a lot, good with people and properly raised good with dogs and other critters.

Physically they could not be more different. Health wise, Greyhounds are extremely healthy and also long lived.
