wood floor stain

can you tell me the stain you used? I want to refinish our floors to this color..but we have more of a reddish oak and wondering if I can get it to this medium tone. Thank you!!!

    Thank you so much! I definitely will. I think you are correct that this house is white oak and I am trying to figure out how to tone down the gold/yellow of our red oak and not go too dark.

      Take a look at Bona Naturale finish. Over Red Oak its pretty close. These look like White Oak planks however.

      I gotcha. I would suggest having a very experienced flooring finisher come look at your floor for some suggestions.

      It was a custom color, a stain and a poly done on site. Yes the floors are white oak. Thank you.

      Bleaching the floor would slightly tone down redness, but not completely. then maybe using a stain.
