I think you should go white.

I have a lot the same red tones in my granite. I saw some cream in there as well, so I went with BM Swiss Coffee. I would choose a warm white, due to your counters, but like I said previously, this usually clashes with cool wall paint. Can we get a closeup of your counters? Also, does this room connect with another in a open floor plan? Lots to consider, that's why I would hire someone to pick all the colors first or invest in a fan deck.

Here's what it looked like with the light blue/grey. You can see the difference between the warm cabinets and cool wall color if you look at the right side.

Are you repainting the other rooms light blue/grey or living them red?

I think an off-white will go best with your counters -- pure white will feel too stark and will pull out the undertones in the stone that you like least. Agree with others above, however, that you will need to change your vision of the wall color as well. Rather than a bluish tone, that's where I'd go for the gray, preferably a warmer gray that will harmonize with cabinets and stone. Grays can be tricky, but if you aim for warm tones (those with a bit of red or yellow) rather than cool (blue), you'll be on the right track, and then you'll need to try some samples next to your actual stone to get the right tonal match -- probably paint some posterboard so that you can try it upright and flat, to get all the lighting changes in the room too. You should be able to find a pleasant pale gray that will help pull the kitchen together while looking great in other rooms as well.

I just found the photo on Houzz -- follow the More Info link and either they give it or you'll need to ask the designer there, sorry. (Looks like a couple of people have tried to ask, with no results, feh.) Otherwise, you might see if you can print it out and take along on your paint sample trip, or maybe somebody here will recognize it.
