What grade red oak was this? Select, #1 o #2?

It will be more uniform. Yes, we've applied country white to select floors. It will look good if you get the right person to do it, don't worry.! Select is beautiful wood.

Do you have any photos of Minwax Pickled Oak applied to white oak floors?

What finish of the Bona was used? Satin, semi glass or extra matte?

Hi! Loving these floors! I just tried country white and they felt slightly too white. My flooring guy suggested 2 parts white mixed with 1 part paint thinner for a slightly more natural look. What do you think about that? Is paint thinner bad? Also, which finish? Satin?

i would mix dura seal neutral with the country white. neutral will tone down the white. try 1-1 first because that's the easiest ratio to mix. stay away from the paint thinner is my advice.

Hi! My installer did 2 coats of Nordic Seal today. 1 coat in the morning and 1 coat in the afternoon. They're supposed to start the finish tomorrow morning and it is Bona MEGA clear. Do you think there is any major issue with this?

Hi Jenn, no.. i dont think there is any reason to be concerned. The bona products dry very quickly. if they are familiar with these products it will be fine.

looks like something got stuck in the finish

they can remove it.

traffic hd is great as a top coat but it does cost more, so perhaps check with your flooring professional about cost increase to do that. it's fine over mega clear.
