Is this crabapple OK?

Hi! We purchased a crabapple (nursery said it was a Profusion crabapple) on 4/25/2016. We dug a wide hole and planted not too deep, as the nursery suggested. We mixed good top soil with native soil to fill in the hole once tree was placed. We have not used any type of fertilizer. Not sure if we should...

Now, on 7/20/2016 the crabapple looks sort of weak. Not sure if this is an OK look or if it is suffering/dying. We water once a week for about 20mins.

Any suggestions are welcomed and truly appreciated. We are new to gardening and we have decided to plant the trees ourselves as well as install our sod. We are in that very exciting but overwhelming, error prone moment of learning the dos and don'ts of how to care for our lawn, trees and garden. Thank you!
