we are renovating our kitchen and are highly considering doing two toned kitchen cabinets (easier to hide dirt and messes from 4 kids); stained alder for the lower cabinets and painted white for the uppers. We are putting in white quartz countertops and considering subway tile backsplash. We also have wood floors that we are going to get buffed and restained. My conundrum is that I am not sure how to pick the stain for the lower cabinet and the wood floors as to not make it look too busy. Our kitchen is on the smaller side. Any suggestions?
