I wish I had an answer for you. Maybe if I bump this up some one will know. DH wants one, but he wants the expensive eat anything you feed it machine. Sounds to me like I'm outa luck - the reviews on shredders said pretty much leaves only (I have a leaf vacuum that will suffice for that), and the chippers do branches only. I guess I could mow over the stuff (tomato vines, pumpkin vines, etc) but my goal was to have free mulch or compost material for the garden.
