My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    do you have any issues with water damage to the base of the posts (wood sitting on concrete?)

    We always leave the wood up off the Stone/Concrete by at least 1/8" to help with air circulation. In areas more prone to water damage, we use a composite product, like Azek.

    Owner here...there is a slight slope to the porch to ensure that water runs off.
