I can see there was already a post on this, but i also have a water bug of sorts in my lotus pots, besides native snails! I am also finding some kind of soft greenish colored ( egg sack?) and not sure if these r snail larvae or these bugs larvae. But i am sure that the snails r eating my lotus leaves, but not sure if the other bugs arr doing any damage to my lotus as well, i am from central north fl zone 9 . The unknown water bugs are almost diamond shape and swim mostly along the bottom..

I have put some assassin snails in the pots to hopefully reduce my snail population, plus im hand picking out every snail and removing the egg casings just in case! Any ideas on what im im doing wrong or what i can do to help my lotus thrive for future sales?
