What did u decide to do on the LED lights?

I don't like the look of these for public areas because then you have a bunch of bumps on your ceiling - I prefer a recessed light. These look good for closets or laundry rooms, perhaps a basement or playroom.

We decided to stick with recessed in the public areas. We are going to use the flush mount LEDs in our bedroom and hallway. I was actually at my electricians house over the weekend and he uses them in his living room and they really don't stand out. Until he pointed them out, I didn't even notice they were there. They just look like recessed, but I didn't feel comfortable being the Guinea pig to use them in my living room and kitchen. ;-)

Will pendant lighting be a good idea? I see most of kitchens have pendants.
