Trying to decide on countertops for kitchen reno and these forums have been an incredible help. Really want marble, but the maintenance with my young kids and busy lifestyle just won't work. I understand that Dolce Vita Quartzite is one of the hardest options for Quartzite out there. This is a pic of my sample. My first test included 1 hour: mustard, balsamic, red wine, ketchup, lemon juice, sirracha, red wine vinegar, cooked, squished blueberries. Held up great and I thought I was home free. Then I repeated all the above and left 3.5 hours and saw this. Thoughts?? I have decided that I would prefer some etching with a natural stone vs a manmade quartz, and I haven't seen any granites I remotely like, but am I going to regret it?!?!
