our home is old as well and i noticed one of your bathrooms may be similar dimension to our master bath and i was thinking of a similar design...what were your original dimensions and did you extend the space during the reno? we have baseboard heating and my husband refuses to part with it. what heating system did you ugrade to? lastly, did you restain floors or replace with new hardwood? we have original flooring like you did. sorry to bombard you with questions...

Unfortunately we were not able to keep the original floors. There were layers of manufactured wood and vinyl floors applied on top throughout the house as well as large burned areas and multiple holes throughout. We reconfigured areas for the bathrooms, except the master downstairs which was already a bathroom when we purchased the house. We stayed within the footprint of that bath. It's 6'x10'. There was no air conditioning or heat in the home at the time of purchase so we had to put in a completely new system. We installed a geothermal system.

appreciate your time. our master bed/bath was an add on to the home and quite small. its 68x73in currently. we are researching and setting up in home consults to get an idea of design/costs etc. thanks for the info and referral.
