Well, yours is not a larger area, it's a smaller area. Keep in mind, as in the Fillmore Street photo, you will not be going floor to ceiling. It makes no sense to put photos where people can't see them clearly.

If you like the Fillmore Street photo, why don't you just do what they did? You're asking questions that you have already answered with that photo.

Are you prepared to matte all your photos and reframe everything in black frames? Could be $$$. Your other option is a picture ledge. I agrees with tatts, your wall is smaller because it makes no sense mounting photos higher than your door way.
