I did a large construction job last year. The end dragged on and on and then the finale was kind of rushed. In the guest suite, The contractor quickly hung my sconces and they ended up way too high. Probably the mistake was made way back in the placing of the boxes. The lighting is awful and the mirrors were not recessed because they didn't fit. I ended up quickly buying an ikea medicine cabinets and sticking it on the wall.

How to fix this? Thinking if I swap out the cabinet for built in mirror and move down the sconces that might help. Means removing tile though. Any other ideas.
Also in terms of lighting these are in a low ceiling area and the contractor insisted there was no room for recessed cans. Perhaps someone can suggest flat led types? Right now the ceiling has fan light combos which are the worst!
